RPH SBW and W. R. B. & Co. (Wiener Rotophot-Gesellschaft, Blüh & Co.)

S Blueh see here became an associate company of Rotophot Berlin, after which the logo incorporated the RPH roundel underneath the SBW. (I had assumed he effectively merged with Wiener Rotophot which already existed, though I see cards of the latter continued to be posted for some years). After this many of the models appearing on RPH SBW cards also appeared on Rotophot Berlin cards, and presumably worked and were photographed there, though the cards of RPH and RPH-SBW don't seem to overlap. Blueh had and RPH SBW retained a numbering system which gave each card two consecutive numbers seperated by a slash. Maybe this was for the plain and coloured versions of the card.

Cards with the WRB logo: Some cards, see the examples, have the SBH logo (S Blueh) with "ROTOTAGLIO" below on the reverse as well as the W.R.B.& Co. VIENNE legend. Some cards have the SBW-RPH logo on the face. "Vienne" suggests the intended market was mainly France. These are half-tone prints. The firm continued producing postcards until at least the late 1920s, marking cards "W.R.B.& Co Vienne III" (or Wien).
