This publisher's cards are artists illustrations, not photographic or topographical. The publishers mark is on the address side. The cards were clearly very popular in France as indicated by the use of the name Vienne and the presence of a Paris office, at 16 Cité Trévise.
The cards with marque M M VIENNE sometimes also carry the name M MUNK. Other cards bear the legend M MUNK WIEN. The card posted in Budapest with just the logo M.M. is also presumably a Munk card - there are Paul Ebner cards bearing just MM as a logo as well as ones with MUNK logos. According to metropostcard.com (now gone) the cards were all printed in Austria.
The 1902 directory entry shows a graphical logo but I haven't seen this.
