The second example card was produced to sponsor/advertise the public dormitory in Florence for the needy and homeless. Instead of the lettering used in the logo of this card, some cards have A Gambi in ordinary type. By the 1920s this firm was Stab. Litografico Benelli & Gambi, at the same addresses.
The third example is a relatively restained example of the large class of Italian Regimentals, which were produced as both stamps and postcards.
