This was Paul Finkenrath's first postcard business. Finkenrath & Grasnick, chromolitho printers was set up by Paul Finkenrath and Paul Grasnick on July 1, 1897. (The example card is in fact hand-tinted). The partnership only lasted about a year. There are "Gruss" cards which have a logo which is a monogram of F G B over an anchor, but
these cards also name the company.
