Stab. Ferrari - Venezia

The example card is a strange combination of half-tone and chromolithography. The print line does look like Venezio but other cards have Stabl. Ferrari Venezia. I don't know the significance of the Milan stamps on the address side. This sort of card was often commissioned.

There are sepia views of Venice and reproductions of paintings published at about the same time marked ED.CARLO FERRARI . VENEZIA. This seems likely be the same publisher: an advertisimg card for a restaurant with the mark C Ferrari Venezia has, down the left side of the address side: "NB. Su questo lato si scrivere il solo indirizzo" while a a coloured figure card marked Stabl. Ferrari Venezia has in this place "NB. Sul lato anteriore della presente si scrive soltanto l'indirizzo."
