Faulkner & Co. Ltd became a prolific postcard publisher. The firm operated c.1870-1920.
The example card is a scene from As You Like It, drawn around 1900. The artist's conception of Rosalind, here dressed as a boy, looks to me more like a girl in the 1930s.
As issued the card has no identification but the reissue gives the firm's name.

Quite separately Faulkner produced a pack of Shakespeare Playing Cards, chromolithographic printing was done in Germany by B. Dondorf.
